NightLase uses gentle, controlled laser heating of the tissue lining the throat and soft palate, which tightens that tissue and can reduce snoring intensity. It is a non-surgical option for patients who are not candidates for a CPAP machine, or who would prefer not to use one. It is not a treatment for obstructive sleep apnea, and it is not a substitute for evaluation by a sleep specialist if apnea is suspected.
